Is it possible to get useful SCIT Tracking with filters for DBZ, Hail, TVS...etc?
Such as adding filters that can be colored by each filter, additional information on mouse hover would be great!

SCIT data doesn't include any of the information you have listed. It is not possible for us to match a SCIT Cell ID with any of the mentioned categories. Additionally, NOAA/NWS does not distribute Mesocyclone or TVS information via NOAAPORT/Satellite Broadcast Network. This information is only available via their FTP which is where the GR products retrieve it from. Also, hail size estimate data is derived from the software and is not a NEXRAD product that is produced.
SCIT data only includes Cell ID, Direction and Speed which are all included in the popup. This is the only information that we would be able to add filters for.
This is a great idea but unfortunately it is just not technically feasible without very advanced processing (i.e. combining SCIT with NEXRAD decoding) that is generally left up to the software.

Ryan Hickman My apologies for the misinformation. I’m not sure what I’ve missed here but I will be sure to give this a second look and follow up accordingly. If it can be done (which it appears it has been by a competitor), we will certainly get it done.

My only change from how others do it, is to incorporate the filters inside a single placefile.The ability to assign different colors to different DBZ filters, Hail Mag, TVS, etc would be great!
I also appreciate the ability to turn the Cell ID off.

We're getting closer to having all of the information compiled in a way that we can filter it. I need Meso/TVS sample data to finish the initial compilation.
I'll be releasing the updated SCIT placefile today most likely. We'll look toward filtering in once we have Meso/TVS. With the relatively quiet weather pattern I don't know when that will be.
