Is Longwave IR available in the GOES Placefile Feed yet (and I'm just overlooking it)? If not, what is the next closest one to traditional IR I can plug into GR?

Ryan Hickman Official comment Yes, it is the "Clean" Infrared (Longwave, I can add that to the page). Please see https://www.goes-r.gov/spacesegment/ABI-tech-summary.html for a list of the bands and their descriptions.
You can also substitute CH## with any of the band numbers to display that product, just use a leading zero. (i.e. CH01, CH09, CH10).
