If a storm has a storm track placed with it how hard would it be to then have a say hover dialogue box with storm attributes, IE meso strength etc?

Ryan Hickman Official comment This brings up an interesting point.
Let's start with the fact that SCIT data does not include this information and NOAA/NWS does not distribute Meso/TVS data via NOAAPort.
On the other hand, we just rolled out Super-Res data which does include Meso/TVS data. We can deploy the Meso/TVS data through the Super-Res code and we won't need to hit NOAA/NWS' Web/FTP farm for this stuff, so we get the reliability that everyone expects.
This would only show for cells that have matching Meso/TVS products. With that said, do you think that's "good enough" for your purposes? I think we can make this happen with a minimal load increase to our Super-Res processes that would be negligible considering the CPU & memory we throw at it. The next step is updating the SCIT placefile to decode the Meso/TVS data from that and merge it with the SCIT data which _shouldn't_ take too much work.
