SPC Day 3 Convective Outlooks (Lines/Polygons) / DY48 Information

Originally from ticket #5989.

Hey again AH!

Not sure if this is the correct venue to be requesting features additions to GR's Placefiles section, but if this is not the right place to ask please guide me where I need to go.

I would like to request SPC Day 3 Convective Outlooks (Lines/Polygons) be added to GR's Placefile options. I personally use the lines version, but imaging there are folks that like the flood filled versions. It appears that WUUS03/PTSDY3's categorical points are in the same format as DY1 and DY2, just that users will be unable to pull probabilistic data points for specific severe weather modes. Simple, eh!? Just kidding. :)

Also, is there anyway to pull data from WUUS48/PTSD48 to plot what the SPC coins "Any Severe?" Took some time, but found a product with DY4 data, check out below:

... ANY SEVERE ...

D4 38787891 37768177 38208521 39138853 40608914 41718801
41788528 41728221 41907783 40557749 38787891

I know this is a much larger task/request, but having a configurable PF with basic check boxes for each day (4-8) where a user could select which days to display and choose a specific color for each day would be nice. Problem is that some of the products are simply blank when no severe wx is expected in the 4-8 timeframe, again check out below:

SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK POINTS DAY 4-8

... ANY SEVERE ...

Not sure if this lack of data consistency (e.g. some products only contain data for days 4 and 5, then day 8, etc.) prevents 4-8 days SPC plots (lines for me, polys for weird people) from being logistically possible without major work and ultimately worth yawl's time and effort adding yet another 'free' product to AH (until now with the much overdue price increase) as the effort may outweigh the return.

Either way, I think DY3 work should be much simpler and really the crux of my request, but figured I'd shoot for the moon with my DY48 request. Again, I'm sorry if this isn't the proper spot to ask this - just let me know and I'll cut/paste somewhere else.

As always, thanks for the ear!
