I'd love to see an option to color code temperatures. Example: pink for 100*, red for 90*, etc. Thanks.

Tyler Allison Interesting. As part of the "custom METAR feed" or a separate feed?

Kevin Owensby I was thinking as part of the custom METAR feed. That way you can turn it on or off and set up the color codes accordingly to how you want them. Or just leave them as a general default color code similar to TV stations. 0 to 100 is the scale I was generally thinking. I use the METAR Stations feed with just the wind & cloud cover turned on, then the Custom METAR feed #1 for temperatures to be on top of the cloud cover symbol.

William DePriest Has there been any update on this? As part of the custom feed (for CWOP as well) it would be great to be able to set a color for 10 degree ranges.

Ryan Hickman This was added for Custom METAR Feed #1 & #2. Select "Use icon instead of text." under METAR Configuration Options. Also must set display to Temperature or Dew Point (Also New!).

William DePriest This is great!
Is there any plan to extend this option to the custom CWOP or APRSWXNET feeds?
I use both on my radar and would love to see them match.
Right now I have the metars color-coded but my CWOP temps are plain white.
Thanks again for implementing this! -
Ryan Hickman William,
You'll notice the new Custom METAR URL ends in .places, which indicates it is in our new feed framework. The Custom CWOP feed is .php which means it's a legacy feed running on old code. I'll have to convert the feed to the new framework before I'll have the flexibility to add support for this. I would expect to be able to complete the transition and add this feature within the next 48 hours.

Ryan Hickman Custom CWOP #1 now has this capability, too. I also corrected the Tip Box not showing. You'll need to copy the new URL from the configuration page's header.

William DePriest Wow, thanks Ryan! Looks great!
Thanks for fixing the tip box as well. I did notice that one of the fields appears incorrect. It appears that for Dew, it is showing the dew point depression instead of the actual dew point. This morning I had a temp of 27 and a dew of 17 and the tip box showed "Dew: -10".
It isn't a big deal but I just wanted to let you know.
Thanks again for your work in implementing all of this! -
Ryan Hickman Thanks for letting me know. It's difficult to test all of the variations in one pass.
I have updated the Custom CWOP to properly reflect Dew Point for both Fahrenheit and Celsius preference selections.
