  This is a limitation of the supported software packages, not the placefile. Sorry :(

  Unfortunately, You'll have to use radar loop like the rest of us.  Besides lighting doesn't show the the intense winds and hail that radar does.

  No, but it DOES show overall maturity and intensity of storms....

  Agreed, intense updraft  = large hail = lightning as a result.
